CCI’s very own Stewart Campbell from Brentwood Long Island, NY has been in the wood working industry for over 39 years.  In that time he has always showcased the ability to bring his imagination from concept to reality with custom casework and furniture pieces.  His latest creation was recently completed and now on display in CCI’s office lobby.  In collaboration with another CCI craftsman, Blaine Elrod, Stewart took a custom table top and fabricated a one-of-a kind piece.  Inspired by older techniques, Stewart was determined to build the legs and base of this soon-to-be coffee table without any metal.  Utilizing dowel pins as well as mortise and tenon joints, the table took shape over a week period.  With the final touches made by CCI’s finishing department, this custom coffee table came to life.  “I am proud that it’s done and that it sits prominently in the lobby of our company,” said Stewart who has been with CCI for almost 2-years.  “I’ve always wanted the challenge of creating a table using older techniques and I always try and constantly improve my woodworking skills.”  You can see the finished product and more photos of Stewart’s creation under the Portfolio tab of this website and by visiting our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/commercialcaseworkindustries.
